Our 60th Anniversary Season is now over and we are taking a short break until 5th September, when 
rehearsals begin again at the Castle Street Centre.
Sadly, we say goodbye to some of our players and committee members as they go on to bigger and greater things and we wish them success and happiness in all they do.
But, we are still recruiting players and would especially welcome violin and viola players. Membership will remain at £120 for the 2008 - 2009 season and we think this is terrific value for money. Not only do you get to play in a wonderful orchestra with supportive teaching staff, you get to make new friends, perform three times a year and of course, play your instrument in the environment it was designed for. If you would like to join the committee, your help (no matter how small or large) would be very much appreciated. WYO would not be here without a committee to run it, and this year we will be losing our Vice Chair, Secretary and Publicity Officers at the AGM. If you are interested in taking over one of these roles, or helping in anyway, please do consider coming along to a committee meeting and talking to us, or email if you would prefer.
