Anna was a violinist in WYO and left in 2004 to pursue a degree in folk music at Newcastle University. From an early age she played the piano and enjoyed singing but only started playing the violin when she was 13. She progressed quickly to become a talented violinist and joined the orchestra only a couple of years later. In her mid teens she began composing and now writes prolifically. At Newcastle she has also become an accomplished guitar player.
Now known as Anna-Louisa, Anna has recorded her own CD and is regularly gigging at venues in Newcastle and Northumberland.
“I would ideally love to be a film composer and/or a professional singer/songwriter because writing music is what I love doing, I get inspired every day by different things and people... and it makes me happy."
